Job Summary

The Democratic National Committee is seeking a highly skilled Coordinated HR Manager to support Human Resources and People Operations for the coordinated campaign staff. This role will help manage and support joint processes for the national coordinated campaign, including working across various HR functions to support onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations: Support the Coordinated HR Director in managing the relationship between Coordinated employees and the campaign, assist with HR investigations, and promote open communication to foster a positive work environment.
  • Employee Experience: Work with the Coordinated HR Director and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and consistent employee experience for all Coordinated employees, partner with BFP HR team to share best practices, and liaise with DNC's HR team for questions related to coordinated employees' benefits and payroll.
  • HR Compliance: Work with the Coordinated HR Director, Legal team, and Battleground States team to ensure HR policies and practices are in compliance, assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and conduct routine HR audits to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Performance Management: Assist managers and employees with the performance management process, including feedback and coaching, and more formal tools to address underperformance.
  • Data & Reporting: Collect and audit employee data to support regular reporting, generate HR reports and analytics to support decision-making, and ensure data confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in HR roles with knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • 1+ years of experience in employee relations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information
  • Attention to detail and bias toward action, following up, and project completion
