Position Summary

This role will assist the Program Management/Event Marketing and Event Platform teams within the Healthcare Exhibits Division. Responsibilities include supporting the execution of marketing communications and strategies aimed at generating leads for exhibit and sponsorship sales, as well as maintaining event microsites for healthcare association meetings. The individual will also contribute to the ongoing development and updating of the Salesforce prospect database for various events. The ability to manage multiple tasks at different stages is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the execution of event marketing strategies, including preparing lists, creating and distributing emails via online platforms, and other inbound and outbound marketing initiatives such as brochures, social media, digital content, and web presence.
  2. Assist in the creation, updating, maintenance, and proofreading of event microsites, including exhibitor portals.
  3. Help proofread marketing materials.
  4. Contribute to the development and updating of the Salesforce database and the addition of marketing prospect lists.
  5. Assist in event setup preparations, including applications and marketing/sales communications.
  6. Help generate reports on email statistics, lead retrieval, competitive analysis, and rate studies.
  7. Research statistics from industry reports and compile a resource library.
  8. Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, including the procurement of necessary documents.
  9. Manage onsite sales preparations, including show shipments and inventory.
  10. Assist in designing and proofreading client proposals and presentations.
  11. Travel to trade shows to support onsite sales operations as needed.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned, including providing assistance to team Managers and Directors.

Qualifications

  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  2. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  3. Excellent creative content and proofreading abilities.
  4. Professional and effective communication skills with teammates, clients, and exhibitors.
  5. Experience with marketing platforms such as A2Z, Pardot, Higher Logic, or other email marketing tools is advantageous.

Education and Experience

  1. 1-2 years of administrative experience.
  2. Basic understanding of HTML is beneficial.
  3. Experience in the exposition industry is a plus but not mandatory.
  4. Preferred experience in collaborating with clients/customers.

Travel Requirements: Up to 10% as necessary.
