The Compliance Audit Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting Kel-Mar Inc by managing and organizing extensive volumes of correspondence, financial documentation, and other relevant materials. This position involves assisting in various phases of compliance assessments, which include preparing certified mailings, tracking received documentation, conducting preliminary record analyses, and drafting record requests and closure letters. Additionally, the Compliance Audit Specialist will help in crafting daily email communications to stakeholders regarding meeting summaries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support all phases of compliance assessments, including data entry, certified mailing preparations, processing records, and documenting research findings.
  • Download, organize, analyze, and reconcile financial documents.
  • Assist in verifying address information and identifying key contacts.
  • Help prepare email communications and formalize meeting documentation.
  • Accurately record time spent on various engagements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in handling financial data or managing high-volume mailings is preferred.
  • Associate degree or equivalent college credits; strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 GPA required for recent graduates); preferred coursework in accounting, business, economics, or finance.
  • Ability to think critically and analyze data effectively.
  • Proficiency in Excel (experience with VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and IF statements is preferred).
  • Proficient in MS Word (experience with Mail Merges is preferred).
  • Strong data entry, record processing, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to learn new tasks swiftly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to integrity and delivering quality client services.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively with professionals at all levels.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Compensation for this role varies based on several factors, including work location, experience level, and skill set. The hiring range for this position is $52,000 - $55,000.
