About the Role

The Audit Associate will be responsible for performing review and analysis on financial documents related to unclaimed property examinations. This role will involve tasks assigned by the supervisory team related to multiple examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Receive training on Kelmar's audit approach, methodology, and tools to ensure a thorough understanding of the examination process.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Articulate and communicate effectively with team supervisors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Analytical Tasks: Perform analytical tasks as assigned on received documentation to support examination results.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports and documentation supporting Kelmar's examination results.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and normalize data to Kelmar's clients' reporting expectations.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Relevant experience working with financial data is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in spreadsheet software; experience in database software.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and business writing skills, strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to independently prioritize work assignments according to specified criteria.
  • Work Authorization: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship now and in the future.
