Role Summary

The Customer Service Manager plays a crucial role in managing the daily operations of vending and warehouse activities. This position involves overseeing product procurement, supervising warehouse personnel, ensuring operational efficiency, and collaborating with suppliers to maintain stock levels. The manager's efforts are essential for the effective management of warehouse functions and the overall success of our vending services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee product ordering for the warehouse to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Supervise warehouse staff and order builders during daytime operations, ensuring productivity and compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure seamless warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of products.
  • Engage with suppliers to negotiate agreements, address issues, and uphold effective supply chains.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff to complete various operational tasks.
  • Maintain precise inventory records and conduct regular audits for accuracy.
  • Conduct site visits and focus on client retention strategies.
  • Support the maintenance of warehouse vehicles to ensure they are operational.
  • Participate in safety protocol implementation, contributing to a secure work environment.
  • Assist in recruitment initiatives and employee retention strategies.
  • Ensure high accuracy in all tasks to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Oversee cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of employee engagement events.
  • Assist branches during new openings.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national standards; review corporate compliance reports.
  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with local management to create an incremental sales plan and track performance.
  • Enhance customer retention and client experience at the point of sale.
  • Encourage repeat sales through effective pricing strategies and product introductions.
  • Ensure adherence to merchandising standards.
  • Evaluate performance by location through audit reports.
  • Perform Route Driver duties as needed, including product delivery and service maintenance.
  • Complete additional tasks as necessary to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred; a two-year college degree or equivalent experience is acceptable.
  • Minimum of 3 years of driving experience required.
  • Serve Safe certification is advantageous or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Preferred 1-2 years of experience in customer service or at least 1 year in a related role.
  • Experience in route management, retail, and merchandising is preferred.
  • Ability to operate or willingness to learn to use material handling equipment.
  • Experience in food and beverage services.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Must be able to travel to client locations.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional service to clients and customers.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently.
