Position Summary

The Customer Service Manager plays a crucial role in managing the daily operations of our vending and warehouse services. This includes overseeing product procurement, supervising warehouse personnel, ensuring operational efficiency, and collaborating with suppliers to maintain stock levels. This position is essential for optimizing warehouse management and supporting the overall effectiveness of our vending services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage product ordering for the warehouse to maintain sufficient inventory levels.
  • Supervise day staff and order builders, ensuring productivity and compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure seamless warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of products.
  • Engage with suppliers to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and maintain effective supply chains.
  • Work alongside office staff to complete various administrative and operational tasks.
  • Maintain precise inventory records and conduct regular audits for accuracy.
  • Conduct site visits and support client retention efforts.
  • Assist in the maintenance of warehouse vehicles to ensure operational readiness.
  • Participate in the implementation of safety protocols, fostering a secure work environment.
  • Contribute to recruitment initiatives and employee retention strategies.
  • Ensure high accuracy in all tasks to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Oversee cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
  • Support the planning and execution of employee engagement events.
  • Assist branches with new openings.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national standards; review corporate compliance reports.
  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with local management to create an incremental sales plan and track performance.
  • Enhance customer retention and client experience at the point of sale.
  • Identify retail pricing opportunities and promote repeat sales.
  • Ensure adherence to merchandising standards.
  • Evaluate performance through audit reports.
  • Fulfill Route Driver duties as needed, including product delivery and equipment maintenance.
  • Perform additional tasks to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years driving experience required.
  • Serve Safe certification is advantageous or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred, or at least 1 year of related experience.
  • Experience in route management, retail, and merchandising is preferred.
  • Ability to operate or willingness to learn to use material handling equipment.
  • Experience in food and beverage services.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional service to clients and customers.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently.
