As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will leverage your technical knowledge to guide intricate, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to outline requirements, pinpoint risks, manage project timelines, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners throughout the organization.

You will be equally adept at presenting your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are at discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

In this capacity, you will oversee communications regarding Google Cloud and Google Workspace security and privacy incidents and vulnerabilities.

You will be part of a professional team comprising Engineering, Legal, Support, Public Relations, and key partners in Cloud, Search, and Android, focused on incident communication planning and execution while upholding the highest operational standards.

You will contribute to shaping the processes and tools necessary for effective communication management while fostering a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that key stakeholders across various functions remain fully aligned with Google's communication and compliance commitments to customers and users.

The Core team establishes the technical foundation behind Google's flagship offerings. We advocate for the essential design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google.

These are the fundamental building blocks for delivering excellent, secure, and coherent experiences for our users and driving the pace of innovation for every developer.

We examine Google's products to create central solutions, dismantle technical barriers, and enhance existing systems.

As the Core team, we possess a mandate and a unique opportunity to influence significant technical decisions across the organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Coordinate and develop communication strategies for various issues.

Gather and organize insights from technical personnel to translate complex technical concepts into accessible formats suitable for all affected stakeholders, both internal and external.

Collaborate with incident response teams and subject matter experts to streamline the notification process related to Google Cloud and Google Workspace products through multiple delivery channels.

Identify and oversee process improvement initiatives aimed at scaling and automating the overall experience and turnaround time for internal and external communications.

Participate in after-hours and weekend work as necessary for critical incidents to fulfill Google's contractual and regulatory obligations.
