About the role: In the realm of cybersecurity, there is no absolute 'safe system'—only systems that are made safer. Our Security team is dedicated to establishing and sustaining the most secure operating environment for users and developers alike.

As a Security Engineer, your role involves safeguarding network boundaries, fortifying computer systems and network devices against potential attacks, and delivering security services to protect highly sensitive information, including passwords and customer data.

Security Engineers engage directly with network infrastructure and continuously monitor our systems for potential attacks and intrusions. You will also collaborate with software engineers to proactively identify and rectify security vulnerabilities and flaws.

Your industry expertise will empower you to take ownership and drive the resolution of intricate security incidents, policy inquiries, and technical security challenges.

As a member of the Security Response team, you will leverage your extensive security experience, detection capabilities, forensics knowledge, and incident response expertise to investigate and evaluate escalations. You will utilize professional emergency management protocols to lead teams of engineers, legal experts, executives, and others towards swift and effective resolutions in any situation.

The compensation for this full-time position includes a competitive salary range, along with bonuses, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by work location and various factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

For further details on compensation, please consult with your recruiter during the hiring process.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and drive resolution on a diverse range of incidents.
  • Support the computer forensic requirements of incidents.
  • Analyze root causes to identify trends and systemic issues.
