Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years in Digital Forensics, Incident Response, or Incident Management. At least 5 years of experience in security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols. Proficiency in coding with one or more general-purpose programming languages.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Experience collaborating with government agreements, government clients, FedRAMP compliance, or NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). Proficient in Digital Forensic analysis.
Experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, C/C++, or Java.Familiarity with legal, information security, and privacy frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, Safe Harbor Frameworks, GDPR). Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
About the role: In the realm of cybersecurity, the concept of a "safe system" is a myth; rather, we strive for "safer systems." Our Security team is dedicated to establishing and sustaining the most secure operating environment for users and developers alike.As a Security Engineer, your role is pivotal in safeguarding network boundaries, fortifying computer systems and network devices against potential threats, and delivering security services to protect sensitive information, including passwords and customer data.
Security Engineers engage directly with network infrastructure and continuously monitor our systems for potential attacks and intrusions. You will also collaborate with software engineers to proactively identify and rectify security vulnerabilities and flaws.Your extensive industry experience will empower you to take ownership and drive the resolution of intricate security incidents, policy inquiries, and technical security challenges.
As a member of the Security Response team, you will leverage your comprehensive security expertise, detection capabilities, forensics, and incident response knowledge to investigate and evaluate escalations. You will employ professional emergency management protocols to lead teams of engineers, legal experts, executives, and others toward swift and effective resolutions for any situation.
Compensation: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $161,000-$239,000, in addition to bonuses, equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.The displayed range reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.
Individual pay within this range is influenced by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities:- Coordinate and drive resolution on a diverse range of incidents.
- Support computer forensic requirements of incidents.
- Analyze root causes to identify trends and systemic issues.
- Enhance Incident Response capabilities through tools and infrastructure while preparing teams across the organization through exercises and training.
- Manage relationships across various departments, including legal, engineering, communications, etc.
