Culinary Supervisor Job Summary

As a Culinary Supervisor with CHRISTUS Health, you will play a vital role in leading our food service team to deliver exceptional patient and customer experiences. This is a full-time position that requires a strong leader who can ensure seamless production, menu execution, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct food service personnel to achieve high-quality patient and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
  • Collaborate with the Chef Manager and Warehouse Supervisor to ensure efficient ordering and receiving processes
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe food service environment
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ServSafe Certification required or must be obtained within one year
  • Two years of institutional food service or restaurant experience, including catering and culinary experience
  • Warehouse, inventory management, and financial management experience preferred
Working Conditions:

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting of up to 50 pounds. Exposure to wet floors, chemicals, and cold temperatures is possible. Slip-resistant sole shoes are required.
