The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Account Director Senior to manage business development activities for high-profile named accounts and specific market segments. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for coordinating and strategizing on assigned key accounts, developing and implementing account plans, and driving sales growth.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Identify, bid on, negotiate, and close new sales opportunities to meet and exceed established sales and revenue quotas.
  2. Provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and/or existing accounts.
  3. Broaden and deepen existing customer relationships to gain strategic positioning and retain existing revenue.
  4. Provide input to sales management about trends and changes taking place within the customer's organization and make recommendations about future courses of action.
  5. Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.
Requirements
  • 10 years of sales experience in the technology or telecommunications industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills as well as proficiency in selling to the close.
  • Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction.
  • Proficient in MS office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • At least 50% of time conducting sales activities outside of the office.
Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges:

  • $118,130 - $157,500 in IA and WI
  • $124,040 - $165,380 in MN
  • $129,940 - $173,250 in IL
