Lead Senior Accountant for Tier 1 Client

Within the finance division at Mercalis, we adhere to our principle of providing timely, precise, and insightful analysis that informs critical business decisions while safeguarding company assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee program budget and purchase order management.
- Consolidate and track all billing data for integration into NetSuite (ERP).
- Manage end-to-end client reimbursement billing in accordance with established requirements.
- Generate monthly variable activity client billing.
- Review and analyze shipping, postage, and pass-through costs associated with programs on a monthly basis.
- Establish sales orders in NetSuite and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- Facilitate financial meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and oversee collection efforts.
- Reconcile related accounts and uphold financial controls and processes.
- Propose and lead the implementation of process enhancements and automation.
- Address client ad-hoc requests as needed.
- Assist with treasury management, including bank reconciliations, monitoring bank balances, ensuring timely patient payment processing, driving process improvements, and maintaining proper controls.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong skills in the MS Office suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on customer service.
- Strong prioritization and execution skills under pressure.
- Demonstrated experience in ensuring financial controls, particularly in the order-to-cash process.
- Dynamic personality with a quick learning ability and adaptability.
- Proficient in maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality, accurate, and timely work, along with an understanding of internal and external customer needs.
- Experience in treasury functions, including bank reconciliations, treasury controls, balance reporting, and steering process improvements.
