Within the finance division at Mercalis, our guiding principle is to provide proactive, timely, and precise analysis and insights that inform critical business decisions while safeguarding company assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee program budget and purchase order management.
  • Consolidate and track all billing data for integration into NetSuite (ERP).
  • Manage the complete cycle of client reimbursement billing according to specified requirements.
  • Generate monthly variable activity client billing.
  • Review monthly shipping, postage, and pass-through costs related to programs.
  • Establish sales orders in NetSuite and ensure accurate revenue recording.
  • Facilitate financial meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and manage collection activities.
  • Reconcile related accounts while ensuring adherence to financial controls and processes.
  • Propose and lead the implementation of process enhancements and automation.
  • Address client ad-hoc requests as assigned.
  • Assist with treasury management, including bank reconciliations, monitoring bank balances, ensuring timely patient payment processing, driving process improvements, and maintaining proper controls.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks and time effectively.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel and strong skills in the MS Office suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on customer service.
  • Proven capacity to prioritize and execute tasks under pressure.
  • Demonstrated experience in ensuring financial controls, particularly in the order-to-cash process.
  • Dynamic personality with a quick learning ability and adaptability.
  • Effective in maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Strong attention to detail, delivering high-quality work with accuracy and timeliness, along with an understanding of business needs.
  • Experience in treasury functions, including bank reconciliations, treasury controls, balance reporting, and steering process improvements.
