About the Role

SPT Labtech is seeking a highly organized and proactive Territory Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our liquid handling and sample management product lines into the genomics, protein crystallization, and drug discovery markets across the South East region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and develop the sales of SPT Labtech's liquid handling and sample management product lines into the genomics, protein crystallization, and drug discovery markets across the South East region.
  • Manage all pre-sale activities until purchase order and support post-sales activities.
  • Work independently and collaborate closely with sales specialists, support, product management, and marketing teams.
  • Schedule and conduct product presentations and demonstrations to customers.

About You:

  • You will be located in the Mid-Atlantic area to contribute to the smooth running of our sales and business operations with an established network across the area.
  • Extensive experience in a capital equipment sales role in the Life Sciences Market with experience selling automated liquid handling technologies or familiar with lab automation solutions.
  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a Life Science discipline, a background in Genomics or Protein Crystallography is advantageous.
  • Excited by the significant travel (up to 50%) over the region and based near a convenient travel hub.
  • Familiar with CRM use as a central sales tool. Experience with Salesforce would be desirable.
  • Proven success and ability to develop business.
  • Ability to conduct presentations in front of varying audiences.
  • Autonomous, team player and capable of working remotely.
