Health Systems Sales Director, West Region

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to lead our Health Systems Sales team in the West region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow revenue in hospital accounts through business development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance customer experience through customer focus, responsive problem solving, relationship building, and best practice implementation.
- Partner with other Sales Directors and Commercial partners to standardize processes, leverage best practices, and create a unified sales approach.
- Direct hospital account managers and provide training, goal-setting, coaching, performance management, and development.
- Develop plans and pipelines to grow the business in hospital accounts, set targets for each rep, and hold them accountable for results.
- Personally accountable for achievement of revenue targets, client retention, operating margin, employee engagement, SFDC utilization, and retention.
- Collaborate with regional sales leaders and operations to align on goals, execute the strategy, and achieve targeted results.
- Develop relationships with influential decision-makers at client hospitals to understand their needs and work with the team to develop and present winning value propositions.
- Collaborate with the service delivery team to ensure clients receive the highest level of service and advocate for process improvements and standard processes.
- Engage with other sales leaders, marketing, and operations in developing market plans and value propositions for existing customers and defined targeted hospitals.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of sales management or leadership experience.
- Experience with operational management, process improvement, and problem resolution.
Preferred Qualifications:
Five (5) years of successful healthcare sales experience with B2B transactions preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of reference laboratory business, tests, and processes preferred.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry, payors, and regulations.
- Understanding of the economics of B2B business transactions in hospitals and health systems.
- Track record of achieving sales results and successfully leading teams.
Education:
BA/BS; MBA preferred.
License/Travel:
Valid driver's license and ability to travel in the regional market.
Compensation:
The target compensation for this role is $215,000-$230,000, including a base salary and sales incentive. Sales incentives are uncapped at Quest Diagnostics, and base salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications obtained.
