Job Summary

KPC GLOBAL MEDICAL CENTERS INC. is seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and supervising functions and activities in the unit, implementing and interpreting policies, procedures, standards, and regulations to personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective nursing care plans to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  2. Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
  3. Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Requirements:

  1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – BSN or ASN required.
  2. Registered Nurse, licensed in the state of California.
  3. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ABLS certifications.
  4. NIHSS-Stroke Certification.
  5. At least 1 year of experience in acute care.
