Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician (Neurologist) to join our team at the Department of Veterans Affairs. As a Neurologist Physician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional healthcare services to our patients, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care to patients with neurological disorders, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including neurosurgeons, radiologists, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in educational programs and training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest medical research and advancements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols to improve patient outcomes.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a residency program in neurology or a related field.
  • Board certification in neurology or a related field.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of employment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
