Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven District Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and adoption of MiTek solutions within a designated district.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve assigned sales objectives, working closely with Regional Sales Managers and other district sales managers to drive sales and adoption of components and builders' products.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including engineers, builders, framers, and building officials, to ensure MiTek solutions are adopted within the district.
  • Stay informed on market dynamics, codes, and product issues, and utilize this knowledge to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Account Managers to develop business development programs for key national accounts within the district.
  • Maintain a market development database to track key accounts, prospects, and business opportunities within the district.
  • Develop and maintain reports to track sales growth, customer satisfaction, and business development initiatives.
  • Promote MiTek as a company of people, service, and product, prioritizing profitability and expense management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • 1-2 years of sales or home building and/or residential construction industry experience required.
  • Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required.
  • 70% travel within the district, with occasional trips outside the district.

Physical Demands

This role is performed in an office environment, with occasional access to areas undergoing renovations. The role may require pushing, pulling, bending, lifting, and moving up to 25 pounds.
