**Job Summary**

Massachusetts Institute of Technology is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant II to provide complex and diverse support for staff managing marketing campaigns and programs, including direct mail, email, and fundraising efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the email queue, executing regular reports, and providing administrative support to the Marketing and Giving Initiatives team.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing and Giving Initiatives team, including managing the email queue and executing regular reports.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and programs, including direct mail and email.
  • Support fundraising efforts, including data analysis and proofing and production.
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities, working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills, including written and oral communication.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and fundraising.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative, office, or related experience.
  • Robust customer service experience.
  • Expansive knowledge of office procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative environment.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, organized, creative, and able to handle diversified tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills, including a strong attention to grammar, spelling, and accuracy.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends with notice.
