On-Site User Support Specialist - Financial Solutions

Your Role

As a vital member of the Bloomberg On-Site Support (BOS) team, you will be stationed in a key location, delivering essential support to Bloomberg offices and clients in the surrounding area. Your role will be critical in maintaining the efficiency of our technological framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a relevant support role.
  2. On-Site Assistance: Provide exceptional on-site support for the installation and maintenance of essential servers, routers, appliances, computers, and IDF equipment, including rack and stack operations.
  3. Order Management: Assist in the management and execution of order processes, collaborating closely with clients and the Sales team.
  4. Internal IT Support: Act as the primary contact for internal IT inquiries, addressing user support needs related to infrastructure, network connectivity, and desktop environments.
  5. Customer Service Orientation: Deliver outstanding customer service during client interactions, managing tasks such as account management and software support.
  6. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in Linux-based systems for router management and troubleshooting across Windows and Mac platforms.
  7. Vendor Collaboration: Work alongside vendors and consultants to ensure effective service delivery.
  8. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all activities and updates using our internal ticketing system.
  9. Multitasking Skills: Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Desktop Support Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting issues across both Mac and PC systems.
  2. Mobile Device Management: Experience in managing and resolving issues with mobile devices, including Android and iOS.
  3. Audio-Visual Support: Knowledge in setting up and supporting AV equipment for various functions.
  4. Network Infrastructure Support: Skilled in maintaining network systems, including routers and switches.
  5. Order Fulfillment: Capable of overseeing order processes from initiation to delivery.
