Position Overview:
GovCIO is seeking an IT Support Specialist to deliver onsite assistance for our federal clientele. This role may involve occasional travel for site coverage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support for all onsite IT operations.
- Collaborate with support teams, help desks, customers, and technical staff to resolve issues.
- Coordinate and execute operational and maintenance tasks for networks and servers.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide range of products and equipment.
- Deliver technical support services, systems refresh, software integration, and operational assistance.
- Identify, analyze, and rectify product failures, managing parts ordering and replacements as necessary.
- Conduct onsite training for customer support personnel.
- Offer on-call support by identifying, researching, and resolving technical issues through the ServiceNow ticketing system.
- Engage with network services, software systems engineering, and applications development to restore services and address core problems.
- Perform routine system maintenance and analysis, including hardware configurations and equipment component management.
- Provide remote support services for telework and home users.
- Ensure user applications function effectively over VPN and/or Citrix.
- Manage user relocation requests and local onsite cabling.
- Support enterprise groups such as network and security operation centers.
- Restart network equipment as directed and replace defective components.
- Assist with asset inventory and physical inventory tasks as needed.
- Process computer equipment for disposal, ensuring compliance with disposal policies and data wiping protocols.
- Collaborate with support staff for remote troubleshooting and repairs related to video conferencing and audio/video operations.
- Assist in setting up presentation devices and video conferencing units.
- Support pre/post application releases.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months' experience troubleshooting Apple Macintosh software and hardware in a customer service environment.
- Certification in Microsoft Operating Systems.
- Familiarity with SCCM for remote resolution and software installation.
- CompTIA Network+, A+, Server+, and Security+ certifications are preferred.
