Job Summary

The Front Office Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule patient appointments for examinations and treatments, ensuring accurate entry of patient information into our electronic database.
  • Answer phone calls and receive faxes, responding to scheduling inquiries and requests from referring physician offices and patients.
  • Interface and build relationships with referring office staff, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Enter patient information into our database, preparing electronic medical records to ensure accurate treatment.
  • Send patient insurance information to verifiers for pre-certification, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Obtain and manage all pertinent paperwork for exams and treatments, including Rx and authorizations.
  • Confirm appointments by phone for the next day's schedule, ensuring patients are aware of their scheduled appointments.
  • Greets patients as they arrive for their exams and treatments, obtaining necessary on-site paperwork and ensuring a smooth check-in process.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • CPR Certification required.
  • Valid state driver's license, as applicable.
  • Previous experience in an office setting, with strong customer service and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work at multiple locations, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and diagnoses.
  • Local travel may be required, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • The COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment, with all candidates required to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Work Environment

Our office environment is standard, with occasional exposure to communicable diseases when interacting with patients. The majority of the time, you will be sitting, standing, and walking, with repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs. You will also be required to see, speak, and hear to communicate with patients.

Less than 50% of the time, you may be required to stoop, kneel, or crawl, climb and balance, or carry and lift 10-20 pounds.
