About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Sales Manager to join our team at Boston Scientific. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of inside sales professionals and driving revenue growth through the implementation of virtual selling tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a High-Performing Sales Team
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to create a sales culture that drives elevated capture rates, revenue growth, and customer experience.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies that meet or exceed annual quota targets.
  • Drive Revenue Growth
    • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to drive growth through the implementation of virtual selling tools and technologies.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to foster collaboration and trust.
  • Manage and Develop Team Members
    • Recruit, hire, and develop a team of high-performing sales professionals.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Work closely with virtual sales COE to ensure digital infrastructure is in place to meet the team's needs.
    • Partner with training, marketing, and sales operations teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent field of study.
  • Experience
    • 5+ years' experience in capital equipment, service, marketing, sales, or inside sales.
    • 3-5 years' experience leading a team of 3 or more diverse and inclusive people.
  • Skills
    • Strong objection handling skills and ability to train through role-playing.
    • Proven ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Robust negotiation and closing abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience in capital equipment, service, marketing, sales, or inside sales.
  • 5+ years' experience leading a team of 3 or more diverse and inclusive people.
