We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Development to lead our Parent Philanthropy efforts. As a key member of the Division of Development and Alumni Relations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic fundraising plans to engage alumni, parents, and friends in supporting Parent Philanthropy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet annual goals and objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, alumni, and university leaders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities
- Manage a team of development professionals to achieve fundraising goals
- Develop and implement stewardship plans to recognize and retain donors
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in fundraising and development
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
- 8+ years of experience in fundraising and development, including 3+ years of supervisory experience
- Proven track record of success in securing major gifts and meeting fundraising goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
