Business Intelligence Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Architect to lead strategic and tactical efforts to create end-to-end business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Foster a culture of trust, innovation, and professionalism among the Information Systems team.
- Lead and manage "Extract, Transform, Load" processes and data pipelines to deliver up-to-date information in Salesforce.
- Develop data models that define the structure and organization of data within the BI environment to support analysis requirements.
- Extract, analyze, manipulate, and capture information for departmental stakeholders to facilitate problem resolution, strategic initiatives, and KPI tracking.
- Upgrade and configure Salesforce system software and products for optimized integration and to determine applicability.
- Manage data integration between various systems and services using APIs and custom scripting.
- Stay current on donor database technological advances and assist in the planning and execution of software upgrades.
- Assist Director of Information Systems and perform related duties as directed.
- Contribute toward efforts to achieve our culture, engagement, and fundraising goals.
- Provide on-site event support for Board and Leadership Council meetings.
- Participate on internal event teams and task committees.
- Participate in Association events, including but not limited to Aggie Muster, Aggie Ring Day, Reunions, Distinguished Alumni Gala, Pass It Back Day, All-Aggie Grad Party, and All-Aggie Hullabaloo, as needed.
- Meet our Team Expectations.
- Support The Association's marketing, communications, and branding initiatives.
- Foster relationships with students, former students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of Texas A&M.
- Attend external events on behalf of The Association, as directed.
- Sound judgment and utmost discretion.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, entry analysis, distribution, etc.).
- Demonstrated critical-thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to organize concurrent projects, manage time, and meet deadlines, while working independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively with teammates.
- Superb attention to detail paired with the ability to recognize and analyze the bigger picture.
- Ability to be an agent of change, capable of advocating for and implementing new approaches.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of unique personalities and individuals.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
- Ability to use standard office equipment and software, including the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex information with clarity.
- Strong commitment to the mission and vision of The Association of Former Students, with the ability and desire to advocate for the organization and Texas A&M University.
- High energy level and intrinsic motivation.
- Texas driver's license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
- Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
- Availability to travel occasionally, including overnight stays, weekends, and evenings, in support of Association events.
- Experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, or analytics roles.
- Experience with SQL, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in a related field.
