What We Seek

The role of the Technical Service Representative is a demanding position that involves the installation and maintenance of photopolymer plate-making and associated equipment at various client locations. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who can work independently and closely with customers, technical service teams, and sales personnel to ensure that both customer and company interests are prioritized while promoting our exclusive product line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with automated systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
  • Oversee equipment installations from pre-installation to final training.
  • Possess a solid understanding of PLCs and ladder logic.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers both in person and via phone.
  • Experience with Flexographic platemaking systems is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to customer or manufacturing sites, requiring up to 50% travel.
  • Must possess a valid passport for international travel.

  • An associate degree in a relevant field.
  • A proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physically capable of handling 50 pounds.

Required Competencies
  • Build rapport with customers and establish trust.
  • Conduct practical demonstrations of products at customer locations.
  • Collaborate as part of a team of representatives to assist in sales calls, training, and customer interactions.
  • Support lab technicians and quality managers on a daily basis.
  • Follow up on services provided to customers in the field.
  • Offer assistance to customers in person and over the phone, addressing technical and operational challenges.
  • Be prepared for extensive travel to customer or manufacturing sites, approximately 50% or more, including weekends based on customer needs.
  • Must be able to travel internationally with a valid passport.
