Ideal Candidate Profile

The role of the Technical Service Representative is a challenging position where the individual will be accountable for the installation and maintenance of photopolymer plate-making and associated equipment at various client locations. This role requires a proactive self-starter who can work closely and independently with clients, technical support teams, and sales personnel to ensure both customer and company interests are prioritized while promoting our exclusive product line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate strong electrical and mechanical skills with automated systems.
  • Ability to interpret and work from electrical schematics.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting skills to quickly resolve equipment issues.
  • Manage equipment installations from pre-installation to final training.
  • Proficient understanding of PLCs and ladder logic.
  • Provide technical assistance to clients both in-person and via phone regarding operational challenges.
  • Experience with Flexographic platemaking systems and plates is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to customer or manufacturing sites, requiring 50% or more travel.
  • Must possess a valid passport for international travel.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a relevant field.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients and teams.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Physically capable of handling 50 pounds.

  • Ensure follow-through on services provided to clients in the field.
  • Offer assistance to clients both in-person and over the phone for technical and operational inquiries.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to customer or manufacturing sites, requiring 50% or more travel (approximately 20+ hours on the road, averaging 2/3 nights away, with potential weekend travel based on client needs).
  • Must be able to travel internationally with a valid passport.
