Position Overview

The role of the Technical Service Representative is critical, focusing on the installation and maintenance of photopolymer plate-making equipment at various client locations. This position demands a proactive individual who can work autonomously and in collaboration with customers, technical service teams, and sales personnel to uphold the interests of both the customer and the company while promoting our exclusive product line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate strong electrical and mechanical skills with automated systems.
  • Interpret and work from electrical schematics effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
  • Oversee equipment installations from pre-installation to final training.
  • Possess a solid understanding of PLCs and ladder logic.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers in person and via phone for operational challenges.
  • Experience with Flexographic platemaking systems is preferred but not essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to customer or manufacturing sites.
  • Must possess a valid passport for international travel.

  • Associate degree in a relevant field.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Physically fit to handle the demands of the role.

Required Competencies
  • Build rapport with clients and establish trust.
  • Conduct practical demonstrations of products at client sites.
  • Collaborate with a team of representatives to assist in sales calls and customer interactions.
  • Support laboratory technicians and quality managers on a daily basis.
  • Ensure follow-through on services provided to clients in the field.
  • Offer assistance to customers regarding technical and operational inquiries.
  • Expect to travel frequently to customer or manufacturing locations, with travel requirements of 50% or more.
  • Must be able to travel internationally with a valid passport.
