Senior Manager - Ticket Revenue

The Senior Manager - Ticket Revenue will be responsible for overseeing the revenue recognition accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant accounting standards. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage a team of accounting professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement revenue recognition policies and procedures
  • Oversee the preparation of revenue and expense entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Reconcile revenue and related general ledger balances, identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, and other revenue recognition-related statements
  • Drive process improvement and data enablement to support the team in completing close, reconciliation, and financial reporting in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assist in ensuring a strong financial control environment, supportive of business growth
  • Protect organizational value by maintaining confidentiality
  • Develop diverse talent to promote team retention and meet current and future business needs
  • Provide support to the Manager of Revenue Accounting
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
  • 8+ years' experience in tax accounting with a mixture of public and private accounting preferred
  • Cruise, travel, or hospitality experience is a plus
  • Experience with computerized ledger systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience managing a small team of accounting professionals
  • Familiarity with Work Day General Ledger a plus
