First Choice Health Centers is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Associate who acts as the primary point of contact for callers reaching out to our organization.

The associate is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to all patients, their families, and other stakeholders.

This role involves the prompt and precise handling of patient inquiries by answering incoming calls, taking comprehensive messages, (re)scheduling appointments, verifying patient details, and gathering relevant information to effectively direct patients to the appropriate resources that address their needs.

Primarily a Monday through Thursday schedule from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The hourly pay for this position is $18/hour, with compensation based on various factors including work experience and certifications.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Experience in a call center or customer support environment.
- Strong active listening and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in problem-solving.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.

Experience and Training:
- Call center: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Schedule:

This is a Part-Time position working Monday - Thursday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.


Standard Job Duties:
- Responds to all incoming calls promptly in a call center environment.

- Schedules/reschedules patient appointments, addresses customer inquiries accurately and timely, and escalates customer concerns to a supervisor in a respectful and courteous manner.

- Obtains and verifies necessary information, such as patient demographics, during calls.
- Facilitates same-day appointments for all medical, family providers, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and specialty providers.
- Refers calls to the nurse or provider as needed based on the phone triage list.
