About the Role

As a key member of our team at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests and employees. This exciting opportunity will challenge you to think critically and develop innovative solutions to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into guest accidents to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions.
  • Database Management: Ensure that the accident investigation database is up-to-date and that accidents requiring investigation are completed within the assigned timeframe.
  • Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections throughout the park to ensure compliance with SeaWorld's safety policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of safety inspections, accident investigations, and other relevant data.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Certifications: Certified or able to become certified in safety department training programs.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk distances, climb stairs, bend, and lift objects of various weights up to 25lbs.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and positively interact with guests and employees of all ages and backgrounds.
