Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors by handling difficult individuals and situations.
  • Maintain adequate coverage to fulfill the mission statement of the Public Safety Department.
  • Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols to ensure the safety and security of the hospital.
  • Prepare reports and conduct investigations as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's license and good driving record.
  • Experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields.
  • Experience conducting foot and/or vehicle patrols.
  • Experience preparing reports and conducting investigations.
  • Certification as a Special Conservator of the Peace.
