Job Description

FPI Management, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, managing staff, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, vendors, clients, and guests, representing FPI Management, Inc. in a professional manner.
  • Employee Management: Supervise and develop the site team members, including hiring, training, and evaluating employees.
  • Leasing/Occupancy: Maintain occupancy levels, oversee leasing activities, and develop marketing strategies to attract new residents.
  • Revenue Management: Manage the maximum revenue potential of the property, including lease expirations, rent collections, and financial reporting.
  • Reporting and Document Management: Maintain accurate and confidential resident files, and ensure compliance with FPI Management, Inc.'s Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Risk Management: Ensure compliance with risk management items, including timely reporting of injuries, illnesses, and property damage.
  • Facility Maintenance: Assist residents with maintenance requests, document facility needs, and ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD programs, and USDA-Rural Development.
  • Affordable Housing Accreditation or other applicable designations.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in Residential Property Management.
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; college degree in a relatable field preferred.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Google Apps, and property management-related software.
