We are currently in search of a seasoned Program Operations Manager who will primarily support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC)/LP.


The AFLCMC Propulsion Directorate, AFLCMC/LP, holds the mission responsibility for the development, acquisition, testing, deployment, maintenance, and modernization of advanced propulsion systems throughout their life cycle for the United States military and international allies.

To meet the current and anticipated workload demands in propulsion support, the Government seeks to enhance its organic capabilities at AFLCMC/LP through Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS).

The LP Directorate consists of three divisions: Propulsion Acquisition Division (AFLCMC/LPA), Propulsion Sustainment Division (AFLCMC/LPS), and Propulsion Integration Division (AFLCMC/LPZ).

As part of AFLCMC, the Propulsion Directorate was established to restore critical management of propulsion engines across the United States Air Force (USAF) enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, assist, coordinate, draft, and follow up on reports within the PMRT.

2. Aid in the planning and drafting of the Monthly Acquisition Report (MAR).


3. Facilitate the coordination of briefings, documents, and inputs regarding systems to ensure continuity and standardization across reports over time.

4. Consolidate information, generate charts, and facilitate staff meetings for senior program management, utilizing data from various tracking systems (travel, accountability, calendars, key issues, deadlines, personnel actions, etc.).

5. Support the maintenance and execution of the self-inspection checklist program (MICT).


6. Manage and track internal and external suspense tasks.

7. Assist in planning and tracking award review boards, award and decoration packages, Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) inputs, and personnel performance reports and feedback.

8. Aid the division and its members in training and preparing staff summary sheets and packages.


9. Consolidate package information for staffing to relevant organizations in support of the program and leadership.

10. Assist with travel approval worksheets, including drafting estimates and justifications for travel. Support the consolidation and staffing of travel requests as necessary.


11. Gather information from functional areas and Program Managers to draft reports and briefs as required, for both internal and external decision-making.

12. Employ analytical methods to collect, analyze, and evaluate information needed by LP Division managers.


13. Coordinate all LP Division's top issues, activity reports, and briefings for Propulsion Directorate staff meetings.

14. Track, coordinate, and prepare reports and presentations for leadership in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

Clearance:
Secret

MA/MS with ten (10) years of relevant experience in the respective field OR;

BA/BS with twelve (12) years of relevant experience in the respective field OR;

Fifteen (15) years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications.

Working Conditions:
May require lifting up to 15 lbs.

May require standing and walking for two (2) hours a day.

Some travel may be necessary.
