Technical Program Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Manage cross-functional infrastructure information technology programs in a matrix organization covering a range of areas.
  2. Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure ontime delivery of technical hardware and/or software solutions.
  3. Provide hands-on program management during the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and post-implementation phases of the projects assigned.
  4. Perform risk management and change management on projects.
  5. Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks assigned.
  6. Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
  7. Interface with the Engineering Team and external business owners for project requirements and scope.
  8. Drive product decisions to align with high company initiatives.
  9. Plan technical software and system hardware product requirements with internal teams and develop the project execution plan.
  10. Oversee technical solutions and software development lifecycle end-to-end, project plans and ensure on-time delivery and provide hands on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
  11. Write code and develop software tools, applications, and/or systems to support the company's large-scale infrastructure, systems and operations.
  12. Apply expertise in information technology and software engineering during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases of technical projects.
  13. Gather business requirements from key stakeholders and convert them to technical requirements, managing prioritization with the engineering teams.
  14. Work closely with product and engineering teams to define team needs, metrics, and key performance indicators.
  15. Articulate the technology, requirements, goals and milestones of the team.
  16. Provide hands-on project management during all phases of the IT project lifecycle (analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases) with an emphasis on communication to project sponsors, stakeholders and project teams.
  17. Complete root cause analysis of different workflows in order to quantify problems, goals, and identify priorities.
  18. Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics or related field, and 4 years of work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Requires 4 years of experience in the following:
    1. Program Management, Project Management, Product Development, and Operations management
    1. Optimizing products, processes and systems for efficiency and the best possible ROI
    1. Working with or managing compiler/runtime, development tool, C, C++, and Linux technologies
    1. Cross-functional Leadership, Customer/Partner relationships, and building teams
    1. Managing priorities between support for existing products, new development, migration in development environment and customer escalations by dynamic load balancing with limited resources
    1. Improving overall productivity and efficiency, enabling delivery of quality software at a much faster pace
    1. Interfacing with Engineering and business owners for project requirements and scope
    1. Providing hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.

Public Compensation:

$282,051/year to $308,220/year + bonus + equity + benefits
