Position Overview:
As an Educational Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the identification, development, and execution of educational initiatives. This position operates under general supervision and involves a variety of tasks that may present challenges but typically carry limited responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and coordinate all administrative tasks related to educational events, programs, and workshops.
2. Plan, develop, and implement designated resident programs to ensure program quality.
3. Maintain timely progress updates and communicate with program managers and assistants.
4. Facilitate discussions among cross-functional teams and departments, both internally and externally.
5. Design and format project-related documents, brochures, reports, and materials for conferences and meetings.
6. Create and manage content for the department's website and digital signage.
7. Produce and distribute the bi-annual department newsletter to alumni and stakeholders.
8. Handle correspondence for recommendations, promotions, and awards.
9. Manage administrative duties related to the recruitment and selection process for fellowship programs, including coordinating interviews and responding to applicant inquiries.
10. Oversee the onboarding process for new fellows and maintain accurate program records and evaluations.
11. Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and track participant progress.
12. Assist with special projects and additional duties as required to support program functions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Administrative Manager and team members to execute large-scale projects, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or a related field is required, along with 12 months of administrative or program support experience.
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
- Proficient in database management and computer skills.
- Ability to establish rapport with students, faculty, and staff quickly.
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
Physical: This role requires prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer, with effective communication skills.
Environmental: Standard office environment.
