Position Overview:

The Service Program Manager will be tasked with the organization and oversight of Daily Living Support (DLS) residences, ensuring that comprehensive support services are delivered to clients at each location. This role demands a high level of professional judgment and the ability to represent the organization in a leadership capacity.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain close communication with case managers and team members to provide updates on client progress, health care needs, and any issues that may arise.

2. Foster and maintain positive relationships with families of service recipients, colleagues, and state and federal case management personnel.

3. Conduct audits of residences to verify that necessary documentation is completed and accessible.

4. Ensure all required documentation and reports are accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.

5. Prepare for and participate in Individual Planning and Personal Support Team meetings, as well as management meetings as needed.

6. Ensure that Habilitation Training Specialists (HTS) and Direct Support Professionals (DSP) fulfill training requirements and attend necessary events.

7. Review and prepare payroll time sheets, addressing any discrepancies in time reporting.

8. Supervise and lead a team of program staff.

9. Develop and implement program policies and procedures.

10. Oversee program budgeting and financial management.

11. Coordinate and facilitate program activities and events.

12. Provide support and guidance to individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs.

13. Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program services.

14. Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans.

15. Monitor program outcomes and assess effectiveness.

16. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Education:
A four-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:
A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience supervising DLS homes under the DDSD waiver program, with familiarity in Developmental Disabilities Services Division (DDSD) policies preferred.

Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to inquiries from managers, clients, or case workers. Demonstrated patience, compassion, and a calming demeanor in stressful situations. Strong administrative capabilities, including budgeting, scheduling, and record-keeping.

Transportation:
Must possess reliable transportation, a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, and current auto liability insurance.

Criminal History:
Must consent to and successfully pass a criminal history check and employee misconduct registry check.

Home Visits:
Willingness to visit client residences, conduct assessments, and provide timely documentation of findings.
