Business Development Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Strategist to join our team at TechSource, working 20 hours per week. This role requires a strong research background and excellent communication skills to support the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Opportunity Identification
    • Utilize research tools to identify contract opportunities that align with capability growth objectives, assess alignment with TechSource's qualifications and experience, and identify gaps/weaknesses.
  • Competitor and Customer Research
    • Research competitors and current/future customers, as well as other relevant external macro-environmental information that may impact contract acquisition.
  • Capability Strategy Roadmap Development
    • Develop and maintain the ABQ PMO's capability strategy roadmap, utilizing contract, customer, and other external research paired with internal technical capability and qualification assessments.
  • Capability Strategy Execution
    • Manage the execution of the capability strategy roadmap through ongoing partnership with program managers, other technical capability leads, and corporate business development support staff.
  • Capability Maturation Opportunities
    • Utilize the Make/Partner/Buy framework to assess effective capability maturation opportunities and make recommendations.
Requirements
  • Experience and Qualifications
    • 10 or more years of project management experience and/or business development experience.
    • Experience working with DOE and DoD Customers (NNSA, SNL, and relevant DoD departments/agencies).
    • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Superior collaboration and organizational skills.
    • Proactive and highly motivated.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required for this position (DOE Q clearance or DoD TS).
