Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Southwest Florida Home Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all activities and programs related to the recruitment, selection, retention, orientation, and development of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Human Resources Operations: Perform all daily human resources operations, including providing direct oversight of the establishment and implementation of human resource policies, ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and CHAP human resources regulatory requirements.
  1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all human resources practices and procedures are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  1. Workforce Planning: Monitor competitor's wage, salary, and benefit structures and make recommendations to the Executive Director for compensation adjustments to ensure that Southwest Florida Home Care is competitive in the market.
  1. Recruitment and Selection: Work with the management team to identify recruitment needs and develop a recruitment plan designed to fill demand, and evaluate the cost-effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
  1. Employee Engagement: Build and monitor community perceptions of Southwest Florida Home Care as a high-quality employer.
  1. Financial Management: Assist the Executive Director/Administrator in the preparation of the annual budget for the human resources department and monitor the allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations.
  1. Community Outreach: Coordinate and participate in community awareness and recruitment activities, such as career fairs.
  1. Employee Development: Work with the management team in identifying employee education needs and develop orientation and continuing education programs for all employees.

  1. Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of all employee information and files.
  1. Performance Monitoring: Annually monitor personnel satisfaction with benefits and work environment and report the results per organization practice.
  1. Benefits and Compensation: Make recommendations regarding organization personnel benefits package, and cost-effective plans.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
