Job Overview

Position Summary:
The Service Coordinator at Lexus of Wayzata plays a vital role in delivering administrative assistance to the service division. This position requires close collaboration with the service personnel to ensure that all administrative functions are executed accurately and promptly.

This individual will act as the main point of contact for clients, consistently providing outstanding customer service.


Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, salaried role within the automotive sector. The compensation package will be competitive and aligned with qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist clients both in-person and via phone, ensuring top-notch customer service
  • Arrange service appointments and manage the service department's schedule
  • Maintain precise records of client information, service histories, and invoices
  • Process and submit warranty and insurance claims efficiently
  • Monitor and track service technician hours and productivity
  • Prepare and present daily reports to the service manager
  • Order and oversee inventory of office and service department supplies
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace
  • Perform additional administrative duties as directed by the service manager

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
  • Prior administrative experience, ideally within the automotive sector
  • Exceptional communication and customer service abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
