Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Supervise the daily operations of banquets to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Customer Service: Meet with customers to review banquet event orders, address any issues or concerns, and ensure delivery of a high-quality product.
  • Financial Management: Calculate and review banquet checks, prepare daily gratuities and payroll, and ensure accurate reporting to the finance department.
  • Team Leadership: Motivate and empower associates to deliver exceptional service, manage schedules, and coordinate with other hotel departments.
  • Event Planning: Analyze banquet event orders, read banquet event orders, and set up events to ensure a seamless experience for customers.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and control the maintenance and sanitation of banquet areas and equipment to protect assets and ensure quality service.
Requirements
  • Education: One to two years of post-high school education.
  • Experience: Two to three years of experience in a related position, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of catering and food and beverage principles, excellent leadership and communication skills, and ability to analyze data and make recommendations.
