Laundry Operations Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laundry Operations Coordinator to join our team at the Sharon Center for Health & Rehabilitation. As a Laundry Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the laundry operations, ensuring that linens, clothing, and other items are cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, and other items according to established procedures and schedules.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including washers, dryers, and folding machines.
- Inspect items for stains, tears, or damage, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and request replenishment as needed.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
