Supply Chain Management Consulting, LLC is a prominent consulting organization within the Aerospace & Defense sector, dedicated to enhancing manufacturing efficiencies.

We are in search of a meticulous and systematic Manufacturing Operations Coordinator to become a vital part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and organize manufacturing-related documentation, including work orders, production logs, and quality assurance records.
  • Facilitate and arrange meetings, training programs, and other events pertinent to manufacturing operations.
  • Assist in the formulation and tracking of production timelines and capacity assessments.
  • Collaborate with various teams to guarantee the prompt availability of materials and resources.
  • Track and manage inventory levels of manufacturing supplies and materials.
  • Support the execution of enhancements and initiatives in manufacturing processes.
  • Gather and compile data for performance metrics and manufacturing reports.
  • Perform data entry and maintain databases associated with manufacturing operations.
  • Identify and communicate any issues or concerns regarding manufacturing processes to management.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the manufacturing department as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative capacity, ideally within a manufacturing or production setting.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and terminology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Basic problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with inventory management systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) is beneficial.
