Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Manufacturing Administrator to provide administrative support to the manufacturing department and assist in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain manufacturing-related documentation, such as work orders, production reports, and quality records.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, training sessions, and other manufacturing-related events.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of production schedules and capacity planning.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of manufacturing supplies and materials.
  • Assist in the implementation of manufacturing process improvements and initiatives.
  • Collect and compile data for manufacturing performance metrics and reports.
  • Conduct data entry and maintain databases related to manufacturing processes.
  • Identify and report any issues or concerns related to manufacturing processes to management.
  • Provide general administrative support to the manufacturing department as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and terminology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Basic problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) is a plus.
