Peabody, Massachusetts, United States TEKsystems Full time
Job Description

As a Field Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless internet installations and password setup for our clients. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a 100% on-site setting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing "White Glove" service to the end-user community, working collaboratively with a team to perform network connection tests, and demonstrating how to access these connections. You will also report and receive directions from a TEKsystems Team Lead, track hours worked each day, and provide daily reports detailing completed tasks, including documenting any issues escalated or resolved.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in troubleshooting computer and printer connectivity issues, resolving basic wireless connectivity problems, and effectively communicating with end-users. Additionally, you will manage a workload/schedule that requires travel to multiple areas of a large facility throughout the day, accurately documenting progress within an Excel worksheet.

We are seeking a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills, fluent in English, and able to work well under pressure. A reliable mode of transportation is essential to ensure timely arrival at the work site by 8:00 am local time. The successful candidate should be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time, without conflicting second jobs.

This role requires strong technical skills, particularly in MS Excel, where you will create spreadsheets and formulas to track data entry. Familiarity with MS Teams is also essential for participating in calls and sending messages. Knowledge of computer hardware and software dealing with WiFi and network connectivity is a must.

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on location and experience, making this an exciting opportunity for career growth and development.
