About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and organized individual to provide support and assistance to individuals with daily living needs in Level 3 residential programs. The successful candidate will help individuals develop their skills and foster independence while managing within a home environment and in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide Daily Support: Assist individuals with skills training in activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  2. Foster Independence: Create opportunities for individuals to make decisions and develop their skills, promoting independence and autonomy.
  3. Maintain Safety and Health: Provide medical, clinical, and financial support to individuals, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  4. Transportation and Accompaniment: Transport and accompany individuals as needed to medical appointments, recreational activities, and other engagements outside the program.
  5. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory standards and agency policies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or DSP certification preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with developmental or psychiatric disabilities is preferred.
  • Skill Set: Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational and problem-solving abilities, valid driver's license, and computer literacy.
