Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Specialist to join our team at Bridgewell. As a key member of our residential care program, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental or psychiatric disabilities in their daily lives.
About the RoleThis role involves providing skills training in activities of daily living, creating opportunities for individuals to develop their skills and foster independence, and supporting them with medical, clinical, and financial needs. You will also transport and accompany individuals to and from medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program.
As a Support Specialist, you will work closely with our team to ensure that each individual receives the highest level of care and support. You will maintain accurate documentation according to regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies, and collaborate with guardians, family members, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
Requirements- A high school diploma or GED is required, with an Associate's degree or DSP Certification preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities is preferred.
- You must have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- An estimated salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
