Job Overview

This entry-level field tech position offers a unique opportunity to provide on-site support for internet installations and password setup. As a Network Support Specialist, you will work closely with a team to ensure seamless network connections and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 'White Glove' service to end users by providing timely and effective support for internet connectivity issues.
  • Collaborate with the team to perform thorough tests and verify network connections are functioning correctly.
  • Communicate complex technical information to end users in a clear and concise manner.
  • Document all interactions, issues, and resolutions using Excel worksheets for accurate tracking.
  • Provide daily reports to the TEKsystems Team Lead detailing completed tasks, issues escalated, and productivity metrics.
Requirements
  • Able to communicate fluently in English and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience resolving basic wireless connectivity issues is essential.
  • Competency in MS Excel, including creating spreadsheets and formulas, is necessary for data tracking.
  • Familiarity with MS Teams for participating in calls and sending messages.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software related to WiFi and network connectivity.
Working Conditions

This 100% on-site role requires reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at the work site by 8:00 am local time. A flexible schedule that allows for Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm local time, commitment is necessary.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this Network Support Specialist position is $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. This figure is based on industry standards and the level of expertise required for this role.
