Academic Support Specialist for Peabody Schools

We are seeking a dedicated Academic Support Specialist to join our team in Peabody, MA. As a School Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the academic and emotional well-being of students in our school district.
About the RoleThis full-time position involves conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional development. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions for students with special needs.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement targeted interventions to support student success
- Collaborate with educators and families to create inclusive learning environments
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of school-wide programs promoting mental health and positive behavior
To be considered for this role, you must have a Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field and valid state licensure or certification. Experience in schools is preferred.
