Salary: $75,000 / year

Job Summary:

As the Lead Culinary Operations Manager, you will oversee both front and back of house activities within our food service departments. Your role will involve ensuring a high-quality culinary program while managing financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise operations in accordance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Engage in team meetings and training initiatives.
  • Implement safety, sanitation, and maintenance protocols.
  • Control food costs while upholding quality standards.
  • Actively participate in team development and management.
  • Oversee purchasing and inventory management.
  • Execute additional duties and special projects as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of five years in progressive culinary management roles.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of multitasking.
  • Ability to maintain a positive demeanor under pressure and inspire the team.
  • Passion for culinary excellence.
  • Knowledgeable in HACCP standards and food safety practices.
  • Experience in purchasing, food storage, and sanitation.
  • Familiarity with P&L and financial reporting.
  • Understanding of budgeting, labor costs, and inventory control.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional business etiquette and client relations skills.
  • Physical capability to lift, bend, and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Commitment to high standards of personal integrity and ethical conduct.
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus.
